Les Schwab provides tire coverage for covered tires that have irreparable damage from normal road hazards (“Tire Coverage”). If the covered tire qualifies for tire protection, you are entitled to one of the exclusive remedies listed below. Common road hazards are the unexpected contact of a covered tire with objects on the road that are not a normal part of the road surface, such as rocks, nails, potholes, unexpected debris or glass.
EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES: If a covered tire meets the tire protection, does not meet the limited tread life warranty, or fails due to manufacturing or material defects, Les Schwab will, at its option, provide one of the following exclusive remedies:
A. If a tire covered by Tire Protection develops irreparable damage during the first 25% of tread wear, Les Schwab will replace it free of charge. After the first 25% tread wear, Les Schwab will provide a proportional adjustment in accordance with paragraph (C).
B. If a covered tire wears to a tread depth of 2/32 before the mileage indicated in the tread life limited warranty, Les Schwab will make a prorated adjustment based on the original purchase price, excluding federal excise tax, multiplied by the prorated adjustment. Proportional adjustment is 100% less service miles divided by the mileage shown in the tread life limited warranty.
Blown Out Tire: What To Do If Your Tire Blows Out

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE TREAD LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY: The Tread Lifetime Limited Warranty does not cover service, damage or wear and tear caused by: misuse or abuse, improper alignment or tire imbalance, over or under pressure, repair, off-road or off-road use , use on commercial vehicles, campers or trailers, excessive loading, vehicle accidents, or tire contact with curbs, poles, trash cans, or similar objects on or off the road surface.
All repairable damage to passenger car and tubeless light truck tires listed on the original invoice will be repaired free of charge for the life of the covered tire up to 12.00 inches in cross section. Lock ring and tube type wheels are not included.
How Long Can You Drive On A Spare Tire?
Proper apartment repair is like a graft. The patching material used is chemically bonded to the tire tread and is intended to make your tire as good as it was before it was deflated. It’s less likely to need repair again than other tires in your kit that haven’t gone flat. The repair lasts for the life of the tyre, but in the unlikely event that there is a problem, we will fix it free of charge.
We use an industry standard approach called plug and patch. We clean the hole in the tread, remove the debris, fill the punctures with rubber and layers and patch the tire. We also reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
The work takes an average of 15-20 minutes from the time the vehicle arrives at the repair drawer. It just depends on the rim, size and tire type. Apartment repairs are done on a first-come, first-served basis, so extra time may be required if others are waiting in front of you.
It may also take longer if it is a self-sealing tire or if you have used an aerosol fix-a-flat kit. Then, in the process, we need to clean the sealant debris and dry the inside of the tire. We also clean the TPMS sensors and check that the injector has not damaged them.
