Unlike human hair wigs, synthetic wigs are made from man-made fibers. The goal of synthetic wigs is to give them the look and feel of real hair, without the huge price tag. One might think that wearing a wig is better than human hair, because why not choose a real one instead of a fake one? However, real doesn’t always mean better. If you buy a high-quality synthetic hair wig, it may be difficult to distinguish between human and synthetic fibers.

The first time you wash your synthetic wig can be intimidating. After all, it’s not your own hair and it can be unfamiliar territory.
