A huge 60″ x 22″ silicone belt sits atop a 3-zone adjustable cushioning pad that flexes under your step like a sneaker. The unique roll control wheels are the highlights of this machine and are some of the most intuitive we’ve tested. The console is clean, well laid out and unobtrusive; it displays the relevant information, but a little more. There are high and low tablet holders in the center, while speakers and water bottle holders fill both sides of the console. Assembly was involved and the footprint is large, so we recommend having a permanent and dedicated location to install this treadmill.
With a weight limit of 350 pounds, the Horizon feels solid and well put together, but the soundboard still fully meets the demands of our testers, who weigh less than half that.
