Interior Design Valentine Ideas – Hello friends! Happy Monday!! I don’t know about you but I need coffee this morning!!! Something about Monday makes me tired. But I’m thankful for another week and I plan to cross a few things off my list. To kick off my week, I’m teaming up with some friends to share some vintage Valentine’s decor with you all.
Amber hosts this blog hop at Follow the Yellow Brick Home. If you’ve switched from Emily to LeCultivateur, welcome! Isn’t that vintage Valentine’s decor beautiful?
Interior Design Valentine Ideas
I’ve never done much decorating for Valentine’s Day, but I miss the whole winter decorating bandwagon, so I thought I’d try a little harder for Valentine’s Day this year. When I started, I didn’t know what I wanted to do. All I know is that I want it to be simple and a little beautiful. And of course a touch of vintage Valentine decor because I love all things vintage.
Unforgettable Ideas Valentine Day Home Decor Interior 2018
I started looking around my house for things I already had that would work for Valentine’s Day because I wasn’t planning to spend much, if any, on Valentine’s decorations.
I put my glass vases and metal stone pitchers. I added chandeliers to milk glass vases and mini rose bouquets to ironstone pitchers and placed them on my mantel. This is an easy way to add a vintage touch and I love when I can use what I already have.
I saw this beloved mylar balloon at the Target dollar store and knew I could find a place for it in my decor. I couldn’t find the balloon on the Target website link, but I did find it at Walmart. I love how it looks on top of the stove. Rose gold really pops against the white and adds a nice pop of color.
You know I love my big chalkboard and enjoy hanging it up every holiday. I just told my husband that when we opened our store, everything in the house was fair game to sell in the store except for my chalkboard and my church pew in the lobby. Everything can be yours! 😉 I have a similar board that will be available.

I always look to my sister to do all my chalk work because she is so talented. At this time, he could not help me, so I was alone and very depressed. I draw myself and I think it is possible to be half decent.
I recently made mini heart envelopes and shared a DIY. If you missed it, you can find it [HERE]. And these cashmere candles from Antique Candle Works are the best candles EVVVEERRRR!!! But I’m sorry to say that it’s sold out on their website now. I will put it in my store when we open. 🙂
These beautiful flowers are from Farmgirl Flowers and were sent to me by my sweet friends at Grove Collaborative. I love buying all their products at home and it’s so convenient to have them delivered to my door when I need them.
I know most people don’t treat Valentine’s Day, but if you do, I hope I’ve inspired you. Remember to go to Kirstin at White Arrows Home. Share 5 easy ways to add some Valentine’s decor. Be sure to scroll down and see the full list of each post below. More vintage Valentine inspiration!

I decorated the children’s play kitchen with a simple and cheap paper banner. That way, if it’s messed up, it’s no big deal!
I kept our mantel pretty simple because the picture on the wall is our TV 🙂 so I can’t block the view. The banner is old, but I’ve linked a few nicer ones below.
Decorating for the holidays in the bathroom can be as simple as adding a small bowl or changing the soap. I also added a garland over the mirror 🙂
