The interior of Little Byron’s Banjo Tiny House is super warm and homey! Wood floors, bar stools, and a cozy bed nestled next to stairs that lead to an intimate place to chill make it a space that may be small, but yet extremely satisfying. An abundance of windows makes it an open and free-flowing space!

Casa Ojalá blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior in the most organic ways. The construction, aesthetics and CMF are all inspired by sailboats. The cylindrical structure works with a manual mechanism made with ropes, handles, pulleys and cranks. The compact 27 m² cabin can be configured with roll-up walls that allow guests to create different open and closed spaces. One of the coolest features is how Bonzanigo optimized the floor space by hiding two hidden beds underneath. I can only imagine the serene rooftop evening spots accessible by a ladder, but to be honest I’d probably choose to relax in the large soaking tub while enjoying the panoramic view instead.

Ohariu was built by First Light Studio and Build Tiny from a client’s brief call for “a sophisticated tramping lodge on wheels.” That’s code for walking, for all of us Americans. With plenty of open interior space, when the patio doors open, the interior flows seamlessly into the exterior. Poplar plywood line the walls and furnishings of Ohariu’s interior spaces for the bright, sunlight-drenched room.

Inspired by Roman villas, Hosaka wanted to bring the tranquility that comes with rural life to the urban world, so he focused on how to create a home suitable for studying, bathing, theatre, music and gastronomy. The micro-home is equipped with a bathroom with toilet and laundry room, a bedroom that shares an entrance with a small outdoor garden, a practical kitchen to prepare healthy meals, a study and dining table for lounging or productivity, and finally a storage room where the laundry facilities and bulkier electronic items are found.

AGo Architects built The 3500 Millimeter House in South Jakarta. As the name indicates, it is a 3.5 meter wide building protected by a perforated metal facade. This steel layer provides privacy and also protects the house from direct sunlight. The compact house is shaped like a wedge, but is perfectly suited for a nuclear family! Minimal walls and different floor levels create an open and warm space, which is lean and narrow, but manages to function as a comfortable home.

As you walk through the front door of this home, it’s clear that owner Matt and Lisa have taken full advantage of the interior space with a spacious study, bathroom, double storage and full kitchen. The den has a spacious loveseat and flat screen, along with a biophilic light fixture that strings plants between grilles on a recycled steel barricade. Across the house’s single hallway, the bathroom is impressive for a small house, appearing larger than most – wide mirrors reflect the bathroom’s double-door shower – and is fitted with an underground septic system to flush the toilet. to rinse. Matt and Lisa also enjoy a full kitchen with a deep sink, compact dishwasher, four-burner stove and microwave on one side, then an oven and refrigerator flow seamlessly into the open space under the stairs.

Pod-Idladla is designed for young professionals to have a sustainable, affordable and multifunctional living space. Inside, the living areas form one fluid space, rather than individual rooms. As you walk through the unit’s front door, vertical storage solutions line the veneered walls of the unit, and universal brackets allow the plywood storage bins to be moved around the pod. Even the furnishings, from the kitchen table to the living room sofa, serve two purposes: they optimize the space of the unit, allowing occupants to customize the space as they please.

As you walk into Holger, the small living space is completely open to a kitchen, sleeping and dining area, as well as a play area for Pierre and Lea’s daughter. While there are plenty of hidden storage spaces within Holger, the family of three by choice lives a minimalist lifestyle, so the house itself remains open and retains an air of spaciousness. In the sleeping area there is a large square bed, two meters wide and long, with the longest side protruding an extra quarter of a meter, large enough for Pierre, Lea and their daughter to sleep together. Just below the family’s bed, long and voluminous pull-out drawers keep each of their wardrobes hidden from view unless pulled out.
