These homemade donuts are so easy to bake and the best morning treat. I would say they are just as easy and quick to make as pancake batter. They are very light baked donuts with flavor. All you need are a few mixing bowls, a spatula and a donut pan. If you don’t have them, (I think they are worth the splurge) you can make them in a muffin tin or in mini tins. You can have freshly baked donuts in less than 30 minutes that are a little healthier for you because they are baked, not fried. Plus, they’re so pretty and so much fun to make and decorate – they’re sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. I’ve included all kinds of substitutions and even how to make these vegan in the recipe notes below, as well as tons of options to complement this delicious basic donut recipe.
