. There’s nothing better than getting cozy on a Friday night and tuning in to Mike, Vanessa, Mandy and the rest of the Baxter clan. But before we found our latest sitcom obsession, there was another series starring Tim Allen that caught our attention.
Why Home Improvement Was Cancelled
First appeared in 1991, and the world immediately fell in love with Tim Taylor and his family, his wife Jill (Patricia Richardson), and his sons Brad (Zachary Tye Bryan), Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), and Mark (Taren Noah Smith) . Tim “The Tool Man” was the funny patriarch, who had his own TV show,

, with his co-host Al (Richard Karan). The whole scenario is made even more entertaining by the Taylors’ mysterious neighbor, Wilson (Earl Hindman). Sadly, the sitcom ended in 1999, leaving a large Tim-shaped void in the hearts of audiences.
Premiered on ABC in 2011. It was briefly canceled by the network before being retained by Fox, where it currently airs. The passionate fanbase is to thank for its revival – they even created a petition to bring the show back! All that to say, Tim’s sense of humor has been a hit for years (though some take issue with his conservative beliefs).

One of HGTV’s most popular shows is coming to an end after eight years, 10 seasons and more than 150 episodes.
Hosts (and exes) Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hack announced the news on their Instagrams, with both calling the news “bittersweet.”
This news comes just a week before the season 10 finale airs on HGTV, which will now be the last episode of the home improvement show. This final episode will air on the network on Thursday, March 17, at 8:00 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT.

As such, it seems the couple simply decided to stop doing the show when their initial contracts ran out.
It should perhaps come as no surprise that the former married couple no longer want to do the show together. After all, they both married other people since their divorce in 2018. Huck got married

Huck’s message announcing the end of the show read in part: “Bittersweet news to announce, it’s the end of an era. Next week’s episode of Flip or Flop will be the series finale. I’m filled with gratitude for doing 10 seasons of a hit show. I remember filming the pilot and thinking , “Wouldn’t it be crazy if it actually made it to network television?” And here we are, a decade later.”
Al Musa, meanwhile, wrote: “You’ve been with us through it all – you’ve seen me beat cancer, watched babies grow into the most amazing little humans, and everything in between but I’m not going anywhere and I can promise you’re going to love what comes next!” “

The heads of the rival Democratic and Republican national senatorial committees say abortion will be a winning issue for their parties. Chip and Joanna Gaines became household names after the debut of their HGTV show “Fixer Upper.” The success of the show led to the launch of the couple’s lifestyle brand, Magnolia Mark. However, the Gaines announced they were stepping away from “Fixer Upper” in 2017 after five seasons. “We gave everything we had to this show — these beautiful homes and sweet families — but it just felt like the right time to catch my breath a little bit,” Joanna told PEOPLE at the time.
But it turns out that Chip and Joanna were ready to take on an even bigger challenge: their own network! In 2019, Discovery revealed that it was working with the couple to create a “multi-platform media company”, which would “include a linear TV network and a TV Everywhere app”.
The Magnolia network will present a slate of new shows, including a reboot of “Fixer Upper,” a cooking show titled “Family Dinner” with celebrity food expert Andrew Zimmerman and Joanna, and “The Fieldhouse,” starring former NFL player C ‘Stin Bain. “Our intention with this network is to create and curate content that inspires, encourages and helps build bridges between our communities,” Chip and Joanna said in a joint statement. “We want honest and authentic programming that brings families together.” Unfortunately, one of Magnolia’s new shows had to be canceled shortly after airing.
One of the shows on Chip and Joanna Gaines’ new network, Magnolia, was “Housework,” which followed Candace and Andy Meredith as they renovated people’s homes. But shortly after the first episode aired, three homeowners who appeared on the show — Aubrey Bennion, Taisha Hawley and Vienna Goates — voiced their complaints about working with the couple.

Banyon accused them of using cheap materials and shoddy work, while Hawley claimed they mismanaged funds and then demanded more money to complete the project. “To say it was horrible and emotional would be an understatement,” Hawley wrote. “Two years later, talking about it makes me sick and brings tears to my eyes. The lack of communication, the lack of respect for our budget and the lack of respect for understanding that my family lives in the basement really makes me sick.”
Candace and Andy defended themselves on social media, but Magnolia dropped the show from her roster. However, after an investigation, the network determined there was no “bad intent or malice” and decided to air the remaining episodes, according to Deadline. “While Housework will return to the Magnolia chain, we recognize the responsibility we have to act on how we can better support not only our talent, but also those who put their trust in them and this brand,” said Magnolia President Alison Page.
However, to date, there is no word on whether “Housework” will return for a second season. Breaking news Amber Sheema has some things to say when her film Bash premieres in Taormina – the Q&A
