God Will Hold Your Hand – For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand, fear not; I will help you.
Life is falling apart and we want to be kids again. Then, maybe, there will be someone to take care of us and protect us from our uncertainties and fears. In our chaotic and confused world, God’s faithfulness comes back to us in the form of a promise. Like a loving parent with a fearful child, God reaches down and holds our hand. He comforts us with His precious words, “Fear not. I am here with you. I am helping.” Even when the Lord seems far away, the echo of this promise reminds us that we are never alone or forgotten (Hebrews 13:5-6; Romans 8:32-39).
God Will Hold Your Hand
Father Father, whose presence and help is always near, help me to believe that you are there. At some point in my life, I admit that you are far away and I feel lonely. Remind me of Your nearness and Your care through Your Spirit. In my moments of struggle and doubt, please make your presence known. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Have No Fear, God Is Holding Your Hand

Used by permission of Zondervan Publishing House. When my kids were preschoolers, I often took them for walks around the neighborhood. At the time our house was located on a road with a 50 mph speed limit. Cars, trucks, motorcycles and school buses sped by all day long.
There is no safe place to walk on our side of the road. The only way was to cross it so we could stroll down a quiet residential cul-de-sac.
I always held my children’s hands while crossing and didn’t let go until we were a safe distance away. They sometimes protested and tried to pull their hand from mine, but I knew better than they did. I refused to let go.
This morning I read Isaiah 41:13—“I have held you by your right hand—the Lord your God. And I say unto you, Fear not. I am here to help you.” He knows what is best and He is watching over me.
I Thirst For You, My Lord, My God
My sinful nature sometimes tempts me to pull my hand away from him, but it would be foolish to do so, wouldn’t it? I must learn to rest in His care and focus on my well-being.
How are you today? Do you feel anxious, tired or scared? Close your eyes for a few moments and meditate on Isaiah 41:13. Use your imagination and picture the Lord as a loving father, holding your hand as you walk the path of life together. Thank Him for His presence and His promise to help you in whatever concerns you. Thank Him that He always knows best. “I, the Lord your God, will take your right hand and say, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ Isaiah 41:13 NKJV
Have I not promised to be with you holding your right hand and helping you in every trial and temptation? Then why did you allow doubt and fear to overcome you and why did you not trust me with all your heart. I am your God and I intend good pleasures for you and I have a plan for you which is good and not evil. Why are you leaning on your own understanding, My ways are not your ways, and my thoughts are not your thoughts.
My promises to you are firm and true, I am your Heavenly Father and I wish you only the best. I am with you holding your right hand, you need not fear when the maker of heaven and earth holds your hand, if I am for you who can be against you? I am your God and the salvation of your life. Allow me to be God in your life, allow me to show my power in your life, and let my name be glorified through your circumstances.
Ways Angels Are At Your Service
When you go through deep waters and great tribulation, I will be with you. When you cross rivers of trouble, you will not drown! When you walk in the fire of oppression, you will not be burned; Fire will not burn you. For I am your God, and I will help you in all things. Didn’t I promise to never leave you or forsake you?
I am faithful to uphold you and to protect you, I am your God, I will hold your right hand, I will help you, you will not be afraid, for I am always with you, I am your strong tower, I am your litter. I’m a solid rock for you to stand on. I am Jehovah your God!

Thank you ABBA for being my God and my salvation, thank you for holding my right hand and I will not fear because you have promised to help me.
